..it's an amazing concept....outraged by an citizen's murder of another citizen, the States seeks to "teach a lesson" by, what else, committing another murder, that of the murderer....except the State's murder is an act of justice and Law....huh?

Most murders are committed in the heat of passion with no time spent reflecting or weighing consequences...also they are the acts of either deranged minds or minds and souls tortured by years of neglect and outright torture which lead people to strike out and strike back, often at only symbols of the actual perpetrators of their suffering...what is the State's excuse?

The State isn't mentally deranged, it hasn't suffered a lifetime of abuse and neglect...it isn't lacking in education or options...it isn't hemmed in by despair or agony...no, the State and it's killing apparatus is made of educated, often "moral" men who have all the time and leisure in the world to come up with a system of justice which does NOT indulge in copy-cat murders...in a tit-for-tat killing game.

The State doesn't act in the heat of passion, or from any momentary lapse of judgement....its acts of judicial murder are committed, not by the dregs of society, but by the upholders of moral values...almost all of them trailing diplomas behind them into the execution chamber...you could say that the street killer has more justification for his crime than the State has for its executions, done in cool, cold, blood, with plenty of time to think better.
