Towards the end of his career with Arizona, he was asked if he would return for one more shot at the super bowl, and he said he will talk to god about it and take it from there. He didn't come back so maybe that was a decision after a long talk to himself in the closet. It's unbelievable that grown men can be like that and who knows what the person asking the question was thinking after that. Similar answer was given by a basketball player who was injured with a foot injury(minor tweak) and he says he had to take it one day at a time and let god decide. You walk away from religion and wanna enjoy your favorite sport only to find them saying the same silly things. It is no wonder that evolution and science are seen as heretical and something that's false when you dealing with people like that. It's actually the other way around, yet the religious have somehow twisted it around and make it look like their beliefs are based on facts and science is just an opinion and especially if a scientific fact contradicts a religious book.

There was a time when the church banned education, burned libraries and the average person was so ignorant. I have no doubt that's how it would be if these born-again idiots had it their way. We probably wouldn't have electricity.
