For the last 48 hours nothing has changed at Maggie´s place. The last thread posted was Gewargis´s jubilant announcement that he had spoken to Christians and repeated Christian propaganda against the Turks etc. Like that was anything new or significant. The day he stands before a crowd of Turks and tells them what granny told him and demands they apologize will be an eventful day...this is just business as usual.

Two people have added comments praising him to the skies, for what, I don´t know. I mean where´s the achievement? How does this further their goal of "Errecting Ashur"!!! How does this promote assyria? And if it is a big deal, why haven´t more than two people, in two days, been moved to say anything?

And why the silence since? Are they exhausted? Are they too busy planning their new homes in assyria...to be built with reparation checks they expect any day now from Istanbul?

Has some sort of mission been accomplished that they have all taken a break, to rest and recuperate before the next major battle facing them?

Or....has the let-down set in? Have they realized, as they must after each "victory", that nothing has changed...nothing has moved forward or moved anywhere? Does this victory ring hollow the next morning and have their spirits sunk so low at the realization of yet another hype that went nowhere, so that no one has the energy to mouth off about how they are achieving their goals and watch out world cause here we come!

Just what is the big deal in one set of Christians making the same complaints they have been making for centuries to another set of Christians who have the exact same complaints? Does the world have a "Complaint Department" we should know about?

You´d think they were shopping for their assyria at SEARS ROEBUCK.
