...Gewargis bought a shirt from the New Ottoman Department Store. When he got it home he realized that it didnīt fit, and the color was way too extreme and the seams were crooked, the collar uneven and the sleeves of diffrent length...he tried it on while at the store but was so taklen by his own reflection in the mirror, and by Daisy, the svelt saleslady, that he hadnīt noticed these flaws.

Now heīs pissed and feels he was cheated....so he wants to complain about the shoddy material and the raw deal he got as well as the practise of hiring attractive women to distract male customers.

So he goes next door to Aprimīs house and complains to him. Aprim listens with tears in his eyes and then he begins his own tale of woe about a lawn mower he bought that fell apart after shaving his chest with it only three times...and he begins to weep over the injustices in the world and how assyrians get cheated ao often.

The two of them form a political party dedicated to winning justice and reparations for assyrians who have been cheated and they go down the street to Rosieīs house where they take turns filling her ears with their complaints...by now all three are crying and between sobs Rosie tells how she too was cheated at the supermarket where she bought eggs that said "fresh" on the label but turned out to be past their prime...Rosie joins their party and in a couple of weeks they have gathered a solid membership of assyrians with complaints and next they rent huge hall where they gather once a year to tell each other about how they were screwed all during that year...and they feel a lot better, though they go right on getting screwed...but itīs okay because now they have a National Party to stand up for them and tell them how they were screwed.

Theyīre much happier now that theyīve taken action.
