...the rich are winning out. Watching Bowl games I was struck by the new names for Cotton and Sugar and the other Bowls..all of them have some corporation's name tacked on....more and more citizens don't make enough money to pay taxes while the rich are getting so rich they can afford to fund what used to be civic duties...citizens are being shorn of their responsibilities...instead we receive charity from the rich.,...THEY pay the taxes, as they keep reminding us...sure they do, they can AFFORD to...this state of affairs is demoralizing, it saps the civic spirit a society needs, especially if it is democratic...we're almost going back to being serfs.

...and it doesn't have to be this way....the way we finance our governments puts us all in debt...the rich get SO rich they can afford to pay for everything, at least those things THEY decide to pay for.

...we'll have more cases where new antibiotics aren't worth making, not by private enterprise...not enough money in it....but WE, the government could do it...there are many things like this just begging to be taken care of but the rich say there is no money for such things.

Money is all phony....you can't trade it in for gold, so it's worthless...it's all taken on "faith"....there isn't enough gold, at these prices, to fund any government...but after each cycle, when the rich have gotten the money BACK, through us, they simply print more of it and play another round...it's all a game to them....but to the rest of us it's life and family.

Since we're printing money, why not have US, the government print it up...that way we could fund all our needs....the trouble with that is that through inflation the holdings and wealth of the rich would diminish in value and they can't have that.

We're all going to be "cared for"...not by a compassionate "welfare State" but by a neo-con one.
