If we had any gumption...if we were interested at all in the living...we ourselves would have filed a protest with the police, the hotel management and Jackie. No Jews would have stood around watching as a Jewish kid was punched with nightsticks, in the back, as he was making his way to the doors...you can bet the cops would have thought long and hard...and NO Jewish lady would have filled the management's ears, and the Police's ears with stories about her own people and how you had to bring guns and cattle prods to deal with them.

But then we aren't Jewish, are we?
