That high school vocabulary of yours isn't impressing me, either. Just because you can't appreciate or comprehend what I and the others write doesn't mean it's "simple" in the least. Humor can get you a lot farther than made up history. Take your arguments out to the real historians and see what is shallow and meaningless... they would laugh you out of town.

FFFred, The basis for my previous post was satirical in nature. Satire is really sarcasm which ridicules society in a way. I chose our "society", if you will call it that, to ridicule. To that end, I was ridiculing your post about the Iraqi Opposition groups. Our people have this strange mentality about them, that somehow a foreign power, or alliance, or people, or army, if you will... are going to "reward" us with land in the near future. I can assure you that what freedom we do obtain will NOT be from those means.
If you would like to have a discussion about any topic, please, by all means, name the topic. I was only responding to your original post.
Perhaps it would help if you wrote something that we could start with. For example, your position on our current state of affairs in the world. Is Saddam Hussein being kept alive by the US, or is he just so incredibly good at hiding himself that the world?s superpower can?t find him? Are the sanctions acceptable? Are Assyrians in Iraq even affected by the sanctions? Do the Assyrians in the North have rights? What can we do, here in America, to help our community in the middle east?
I?d love it if you could put your opinions, ideas, and thoughts down on paper so that we could discuss them. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that this isn?t going to work out in the end, but let?s try... for Ashur's sake.
Just don?t try to argue that in 1324 Mar Three said something to Mar Four since that really accomplishes nothing. Let?s accept that you are not a historian? and leave that debate for another time and place. Let?s concentrate on the current. I know, your response very well may include that if we ?don?t know our history, we shouldn?t even bother talking about current events? but I would disagree for obvious reasons.
I await your response? or non-response, whatever the case may be.
