According to 'Art and Empire. Treasures from Assyria in the British Museum', it shows Ashurbanipal's camapaign in 878 BC down the Eurphrates river where Kudurru with seventy of his soldiers fell back into the Euphrates to save his life.
Hardly an olympic event.
Oh well, some useless info I found rather entertaining, none the less.
