Dear Lady...I believe you sent a letter to the president of the Federation some time back before the convention in San Jose asking that a certain sculptor, dear to us all, be allowed to disply his work. You added that another person besides yourself would be accompanying you to San Jose and would also enjoy the opportunity to see said sculpture.

I have it on the best of authority that your letter was discussed at a meeting in Detroit, after the convention, and that Atour Golani laughed when mentioning it...said you hadnLt even shown up and besides heLd told you he would discuss the situation with you.

I was under the impression that your letter said nothing about your travelling thousands of miles to talk to Atour Golani about anything...rather you wanted to see some sculpture, among other things...none of which included talking to him about anything anyway.

I wonder if you have a copy of that letter and any response you may have gotten from said president of the Federation?

I know a lawyer who is building quite an impressive case that will settle the question once and for all if our leedership can behave in any way it thinks proper, even in contravention of the laws of the land...not to mention common decency and fergettabout in our own best interests.

I remain yours fparhad@aol.com.
