my parents let me borrow their 1976 Pontiac Ventura (it's actually a wonderful car) - which i call the fetus mobile, because i was a fetus when my mom used to drive it to work - in undergrad for a few weeks. a few of my girlfriends & i would pile into the car, filling the front bench seat 1st, & go cruisin' like we were such bad asses (meanwhile everyone else at my undergrad drove SUVs, mercedes, BMWs & Volvos - but i LOVE Volvos). our idea was to put on some ski masks, purchase some super-soaker water guns, & hose the sorority & fraternity kids going to their formals from the car like it was a drive by...
