reading Richard Feynman's "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman," Sherlock Holmes (major 5th grade crush on his interesting character...mmm...), Vonnegut's "Cats Cradle," Heinlein's "Stranger in a Stangeland," Burroughs' Martian series, anything by Tolkien & C.S. Lewis, & Huxley'x "Brave New World," & Orwell's "1984" in 5th grade.
i "discovered" Gibran & the Book of Buddha (i suppose that was what it is called) in high school sitting on my parents' bookshelves... & The Book of Mormon is boring as hades...
this may help to explain why i'm a nutcase.
