It always amazed me how the Romans became "Christians" and convinced the world that they didn't really want to kill Jesus...but the Jews MADE them do it!
There were hundreds of bodies rotting on trees all over Judea, yet the Romans were shocked, SHOCKED, at the idea of killing one lousy Jew more.
From the very beginning them Romans knew how to sell a product.
