I think it makes perfect sense... it's consistent with the belief that God is so great, so immense, so complex and so mysterious that it's foolishness for Humans to define and define him or her or it... and all of these petty rules and things set up in his name... we should prepare food KOSHER, no HALAL, no... this way, no... walk this way... kneel... stand... stick your butt in the air and touch your head to the ground... wear jewelry... don't... etc.
I just think that God is too great to be defined by one religion only. What's there to be unclear about?
