1-2 years ago I participated in a "Metro Detroit Against Sanctions" rally. Unfortunately, I was one of perhaps 5 or 6 Chaldeans there, out of hundreds of Americans... this, from a community of 75,000-100,000 Chaldeans and Assyrians in Metro-Detroit!
It's amazing how many organizations we have, and how few of them have actually made a public statement against the sanctions, as if by doing so, they would be signing their own extradition papers and get sent back to Iraq, or Turkey, or Iran...
