I heard that Ben Laden custom was popular in Mexico for the Halloween this year, I hope your son will not be knock on your American neighbors door tonight dressed like one :)
As far as the Hummous, if you bring it to the pot luck party, and your American neighbor tell you were did you get this from, tell her I got it by mail in response to the letter my eldest was asking me about the other day, this way you don't have to make a lot of Hummous :)

: There I was typing away upstairs when the couple next door came over to visit. She is American her husband Mexican. There are a few American couples living around us, one of the women is drop dead gorgeous...five daughters and a body on her that should be in a pantheon somewhere.

I haven´t seen them since, though they dropped over fairly regularly. In a way it´s good cause I can´t stand all this social business. Most of the people here retire early and have the time to schmooze. They were planing a big pot luck to sort of welcome us to the area...wonder if I should bring Hummous.
