Immigration Minister Philip Ruddock today accused the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees of an obscene waste of resources in the way it dealt with asylum seekers.
Responding to criticism of Australia's tough line on asylum seekers, Mr Ruddock said the UNHCR spent a little short of $1 billion looking after 21.5 million refugees and people of concern.
My my ...the UNHCR spent a whole 500 million Yankee dollars on over 20 million global rejects, 'people of concern'...thats around 20 yankee dollars per person...how much are the wanky yankies spending on offence, i mean defence this year? $500000000000 i think they said....it is obscene, come to think of it...
