We originally began by seeing if we could get the operation done in another country where it'd be cheaper, if not free, for Lina Nissan's operation.
Australia and Canada are both part of the Commonwealth and if Syria had also been part of the Coomonwealth we would have been able to get a charity organisation to help us pay for the operation.
Dr. Mariam Joseph and Dr. Sennacherib(Sankho) Daniel both approached the major hospitals in Sydney and Melbourne in order to get a rough quote of costs in Australia.
We also tried to see if we could get a free operation through a grant or something along those lines.
Sankho has been studying some new experimental pills that may remove the cancer without surgery....but as he told me it's still experimental.

The costs were deemed to be similar to the cost of conducting the operation in Canada, so we have now moved to the second phase which is Fund raising in order to raise the necessary funds needed to save Lina.
That should bring you up to date on the current situation.
