yes, though Powell may swear up & down & around & around right NOW that it won't happen... as soon as they're done with Afghanistan, the "good guys" with the big fat guns & planes will swoop down like so many vultures on the carcasses they helped create in Iraq...
the US government has the remarkable ability to selectively forget its promises...
or maybe it's the blame game they play in DC - "so-&-so wanted it, not me" one says. "no, not me, but he" the other says, pointing his fat finger at yet another... & so it goes, on & on... pass the buck until it's forgotten in the mess.
