on American politicians! there are a FEW who are like that Aussie one... they just need more support... which is practically impossible to do when the media does its best to brainwash the hades out of everyone that breathes here. you know, Nader came to speak at my university, & he mentioned that the majority of bills, etc. that go through the hands of our GREAT American Congress are not read by the people who vote on them - our Congressional Reps. - they don't have time. not that that is an excuse for not reading, not doing one's homework... BUT there are SOME who read, SOME who care for more than money, & they do exist over here.
