+++Okay. Now YOU read this and see if it doesn't become immediately clear why we are where we aren't.

The Syrian Orthodox church adopted the Monothisim creed (unfairly called Jacobite) in the fifth century but it had existed since the early centuries of christianity associated with and under the jurisdiction of the Patriach of Antioch just as the Church of the East was before the 5th century. During the 5th century because of theological contracercies the united Syriac speaking church which also included the church of the East officially split into pragments. the result was the independant Syrian Orthodox church, Church of the East and the Mallakites. In later centuries both Syrian Orthodox church and the Church of the East were divided into the Catholic Branches.

+++The tree of which is rotten to the core.
