If you click onto the Hammurabi link on the home page and scroll down to the bottom, you'll see the photos of the end of the Hammurabi Monument project. I got wise this time, killed it after only three years. We're getting better, Shumirum has taken 13 and counting.

In the first photo you can see the almost completed plaster. On its return from Chicago the crate carrying the whole thing must have been dropped hard. It arrived here with the torso broken in several pieces.

In the second photo yoors trooly is holding the Libation bottle...a Narsai's Merlot from his vineyards...good year. Next we see the head priest of the Parhad Cult pouring the libation( a sense of delicacy prevented us from showing you photos of the sacred "drinking" of the libation by the priest)...looks bloody good. The next photos show the sculpture being whacked with the Ceremonial Steel Pipe. And it's over.

I realize that nothing there looked like it was worth $50,000. What you have is a stage in the process, a stage requring lots and lots of hours of detailed work. The pay off comes when you cast all the that work in bronze, step back...and watch OTHER people look at it, in public...then see them come closer to read what they will never find in a college course...if they even bother going to one.

Janey's claim that I am to blame, that I ruined all that work, not to mention my entire career, 20 years worth of work, all by myself, tells you a little of the part they had in it. We have never been able to take responsibility for ourselves. We either slobber at the foot of a cross where the man who will save us is hanging, or at the feet of a Muslim who will NOT save us...but never ever stand straight and tall, and go GET our rights.
