You have a microcosm in that school. I wonder how much soul searching the students could tolerate...or the administration allow, to get at the core issues...for them to understand that the standard of living they enjoy...that "envious lifestyle" of theirs...is built squarely on the backs of the impoverished people of the rest of the planet...all of them non-white.
Being "tolerant" of a status quo that leaves their "profits" untouched is to distance themselves from the rest of Humanity...exactly what got us here.
