xxx I wonder if we libereals have to? Perhaps, it's that we play along that makes us crippled - we're caught up in a game that does not highlight the best of our side, & we're most often in the defensive posture b/c it is not our game. What the liberals need to do is stop playing along, reinvent how we interact w/ the public, & be completely progressive otherwise... even in the way we think about the situation. It takes time, but once a firm foundation is established (& there are a lot of liberals, right now, thanks to Bush's arrogance), things should slowly start to change...
