: Iraq will stay in one piece. Iraq is the U.S. prize and pride. Just as Saudi Arabia and the whole Middle East region.

xxx What I honestly think will happen is that the US doesn't care anymore that Iraq stays in one piece, b/c US oil corporations will be allowed into Turkey as part of the deal. The rest of Iraq may or may not break into more pieces - I think it is most likely that the Kurds will try to take whatever land they can in the North (whatever is left by Turkey, b/c the Kurds are no match for the Turkish military) for a small state. I still see a lot of land disputes over territories if they decide to make Iraq into a "federation" of smaller states, esp. over the south part of Iraq, b/c that's the other oil rich region. Anyway, there will be a lot of bloodshed over territory *after* a "war", w/ the US military basically occupying Iraq (kinda like how they are occupying Afghanistan), making Iraq weak, militarily & economically, etc.

xxx & you know what I think about this "axis of evil"? Sometimes I wonder if that's Bush's personal goal - to have a war w/ each of these nations before he gets out of office... I think he's preparing the way for more US control over Asia... I think he wants control over China, but for what reason, I don't know... Also, you know China depends heavily on Iraqi oil...
