Delightful article in yesterday`s New York Times about how the Pentagon and State Department have given up on making any sense out of the Iraqi opposition groups they poured millions into. It was really cute what they were saying about them...mostly about how they were too intent on fighting for position among each other to think or care about the whole picture...the common good.
If that doesn`t describe us to a T!!! All we`ve done for 2000 years, especially after the missionaries came to get us into THAT position...is learn how to separate and divide from each other...each of us convinced he or she has the ear of god...old Yahweh.
Anyway...it was very to the point.
