On Tuesday, January 28th, 2002 Mr. Joseph Kassab gave a presentation to the
CARE group at their semi monthly meeting of the Board of Directors. His lecture was regarding the Chadean National Congress. He made it very clear that the Chaldean National Congress will definetly NOT be part of the Iraqi Opposition group. Hmmmmm???...
THIS IS ABSURD!!
The Chaldean National Congress wanted desperatly to send two(2) members to represent the Chaldeans to the Opposition group or its arm, the 65 committee members.
There were a few reasons why certain people did not want the Chaldean Federation to deal with this issue as they claimed, "we don't want the CFA to be involved in the opposition".
Well what about now CNC? Do you still want the Congress to takeover or replace the CFA or even diminish its power??? The Chaldean Federation of America has a mission to promote, protect and defend Chaldean's human, civil and legal rights throughout the world and will forever pursue it. The Congress wanted so desperately to send the two names to the opposition the very next day after the Chaldean Community leaders meeting on Jan 9, 2003.
I am sure it is because no one supported them or agreed on the names,including the State Dept.,and that is why the Congress changed their position. Now this is just a ploy to cover for their failure in not accomplishing what they intended to do. Ghassan, Joseph and his collegues want to save their faces, but it's too late! Pathokoun ela already Koma.
