I listened to Byrd chastise the Senate during the initial vote elevating the President to King. He scolded the stupid Senators as if they were little boys and girls... and indeed they have acted as such.
I pity them all... us all.
The best I can do is try to live my life as best I can, ignoring the "media" and avoiding any support for large corporations, etc. Of course you really have no choice with electricity, etc. but I make conscious decisions to do everything in my power to conserve energy, to recycle, and to not support these big corporations, these stupid white man (Stupid White Men is also the name of a great book by Michael Moore)... that's all one really can do.
I will not go to Walmart or Home Depot and buy duct tape and plastic sheeting to put over my windows. I will not by a first aid kit or make any other such pointless preparations because some Arabs are falling out of the sky. If one happens to land on my car I'll make an insurance claim. So what??
