Maybe you, or anyone else, could help to foster greater awareness for Assyrian or [Northern] Iraqi culture at the next protest or action near you by helping to organize some Assyrian or Iraqi catering for the event? xxx OR, if it is the case that the protest is HUGE, then perhaps a list of all the Mid Eastern restaurants in the area of the protest could be passed around to the throngs of people... just in case no one knew where those restaurants were...
xxx Nashville's a small city, BUT a lot of important people have come from this place - recently Gore & Frist - & I just heard last night that there is a ton of money that comes from Nashville & ends up in D.C. So there is a lot of potential here - an individual can still make waves... Anyway, the best way to affect positive change for the long term is to work to help bring about a more stable & globaly conscious change in perspective here at home.
