atchully, I don't really agree with Saletan MOST of the time.
BUT, he's right about this one, in some sense. Though, I don't think Bush is saying these things so much as to improve anyone's self-esteem, as to make himself look better.
Bush: "Look, I can say polite things about sandni... I mean, Iraqis, too. Aren't I so nice?"
