Pissed off, you have every right to be, but at some point you wake up and realize that this is life. It is so poignantly unfair and unbalanced and there is very little effect that you can have as a lowly peon.
Think of it this way...You've felt the stabs pretty strongly for the last month or so....But what about those people that have been living through their stabs day in and day out.
The looting rampage, the chaos, the mayhem...it was all part of the plan. Don't even think one moment that the Americans are just letting the Iraqis vent their anger.
They are waiting, with their sick and twisted minds, that the personally security situation in Iraq becomes so high pitched and the crisis heightens to such levels that the Iraqis will be begging them to take control. Basically, the Americans want to be able to say "look!! The Iraqis invited us in; they need us more than anything at this point!" Parallel this to the Syrian presence in Lebanon, and work out the effects.
