: Though the sanctions should be lifted & the oil-for-food program made obsolete over time, the problem is that the U.S. government only wants these things to occur so that IT'S CORPORATE BACKERS can gain faster access to oil revenues, itself.

: After this attack, how many people in Iraq are fully capable of starting work again?

xxx Please remember that the water, sanitation, electrical, & other infrastructure systems, hospitals, & schools are in shambles.... These things take a while to repair & rebuild.

: Iraqi oil money should go into funding the upkeep of national educational, welfare, & health care systems, after the rebuilding is complete, especially since so many were injured in this last aggression against the country.

xxx I mention those who were injured, esp. handicapped, otherwise permanently injured, or chronically sick specifically because they will need appropriate medical care, which doesn't exist in Iraq right now. & how can one expect these people to receive appropriate health care if there is no nationalized health care, if these people can not work, & if the rest of the nation is trying desperately to recover from all those wasted years of U.S. imposed sanctions & families are unable to afford treatment of an affected individual?
