xxx WOW. I wonder who came up with that. Even though I haven't been to a convention, it's really funny! : ) Kind of reminds me of the stupid church functions I used to be forced to attend when I was little - everything BUT religion (though, in the case of the AANF it should be service to the Assyrian community) seemed to be going on. There was the meat-market, the gossip, the fashion show one-up-manship, obvious preludes to adultery, pretty good food (the only part I cared for), & absolutely horrible token prayers/sermons (to give it that Christian feel). Our family got tired of it & pretty much stopped going to church because of it.
