Simply put, Azhi, I believe that the US is making itself look bigger than what it is. Do you think that they will be successful in pumping oil from Iraq? Absolutely not, who will guard the pipelines. Look whats happening now. They are trying to get away from having Turkey as an ally. That is their reason for the Israel/Iraq pipeline, besides simply giving more wealth to Israel.

As for missile defense, it is nonsense because that is like cartoon warfare. In real war, missiles dont win wars, people and troops and guns do. People think technology solves all problems, but it doesnt, it only alleviates them, and the missile defense system is made to look better than what it is. They are always trying to make themselves look better than what they are, just like the US corporations that inflate their stocks.

As for Turkey, it does want Iraq, and the only reason it is holding back is because of EU pressure, but if push comes to shove, they will simply enter and take it, and unfortunately for anyone who thinks the US is powerful, they will make mincemeat of the US there. Only diplomacy is stopping them from doing so. Have they removed their troops from Iraq as of now? I am not sure so I am asking. But I dont think they did, and they may soon send in more troops. They will not have any of the oil they consider to be theirs taken by US or other countries.
