People must assume I just sit at a keyboard all day...I suppose it's because thinking and writing and composing is like pulling teeth for most of you...that's cause you did all those damn stupid Book Reports you hated. I didn't do any but the ones I felt like. Writing isn't "work" to me...it's a pleasure.
I get up around five every morning and take a walk around the small town I went to school in...still hate the place. At six the Hangman's Cafe opens and I'm the first one in the door. Cup of coffee, out with the knives, and I begin to skin people for two hours, after which I have breakfast with my mother and it's off to the foundry or the studio...and again late at night or in the afternoon after the rest of the work is done I come back for another cup and some more carving and skinning alive.
Maybe some people are time challenged...but I get a lot done in a day...course I miss my children and that helps me sharpen the knives all the better...(now Shawn DON'T go turning my mother in to the FBI just cause Jackie tips you). Today I also packed and shipped a sculpture to New York, met with two Assyrians whose names shall remain nameless and ran some other errands.
Why...what do the rest of you do?
