Assyrians today were ecstatic to learn that their cause has been taken up by that redoubtable champion of Human Rights, Henry Hyde of Illinois. "This shows that we have justice on our side", Rabby Whacky was heard to say at a meeting of the AUA. John Nimrod, constant senator of Illinois, said that it wouldn´t be long now before the pay off would be at hand. Aids were quick to say that he meant "pay off" on our dreams and aspirations.
Henry Hyde made this announcement at a joint press conference with representatives of the Assyrian people, the Meat Packers Union and the Adult Film Distributors of America...two other groups who cause Representative Hyde will be championing.
One attendee was heard to say, "I never knew you could buy these guys that cheap."
