How come when I stand up for Germany, pancho doesn't believe me?

Do you think he'll "take to" your friend's positive comments on Germany, since he doesn't like anything I say (but likes to twist whatever it is I say into something perverse - like making suggestions about why I supposedly really like Germany)?

On the whole, I found Germany, & Scandinavia to be much more earth friendly, open, & tolerant than the US.
