In that case...nice job of being random. Keep it up.

: : >> I think the best way for me to do it is to make my own money that way the 'rents don't have leverage over me. How much would it cost, like $4,000? or maybe i could get my mom to come? she really wants to see her family one last time.

********* Duuuuuuuuuude, no it would NOT cost that much!

David and the Doc told me that they rented a house for 6 months and it costed much less than that! The biggest expense is, obviously air travel to Syria. That will probably cost around ... oh.. (this is a guesstimate) around $800. I don't know if that is round trip, or not. I can't imagine that you would spend more than another $500-1000 thereafter on the entire rest of the trip. Remember, American currency is quite a gem over there. I suppose you COULD spend $4000 over there if you REALLY like shopping. Nicholas Al-Jeloo told me in an email that they had designer clothes and other cool things to buy (like..you know.. name brand stuff from the west if you are into that sort of thing) and I specifically remember David Chibo writing about exquisite Oriental Rugs for $10 or $20... as many as you can carry??

Oh, the fun...

I'm sure David and/or the Doc can help us out on this one?? How much do you-all think it will cost?
