I think Gassman likes to be dominated. I think he'd like nothing more than to have an Assyrian woman in black stiletto boots and a studded collar with leather Merry Widow, walk all over him....pee on him...and order him to bark like a dog while she whips his pimply butt.
I think that's what's behind all of this...his need to be punished. And no one is doing it to him.
