: I am an American however, I oppose U.S. Administration policies.

: I don't think its about Christianity/Islam. I think its about Economy/Power/Corporate Cultrue. In a culture and society Accumulation/Greed/material is being promoted among its citizens what can you expect. In order to maintain this life style you need to do many things, including killing inoccent children/elderly and etc...

+++As much as it seems hard to believe, people WILL kill people for their religious beliefs...it looks better than killing them for their oil. You get the oil in the end anyway, but also get the satisfaction of having done a service for your God. I mean Americans DO believe that God is on their side...come on.

++++Of course people are greedy and jealous and harrassed and broke and crazy with worry and fear and insecurity...and that makes religion all the more attractive because it promises a miraculous way out...which usually just happens to include killing someone of a different religion.

+++Even absent any compelling reason to kill someone...even if they had nothing you wanted to steal...if they were of no benefit to you at all...and didn't stand in your way...most religions would feel duty bound to "save" them...and THEN kill them if they resisted seeing the "truth".

Jews wouldn't, they don't believe in prosletyzing...they too just want to kill the opposition...like Christians do. Maybe Muhammad was the only one whose followers actually tried...they DID try.

note: No...I am not Muslim and I have no love for any of them sects...I like people and don't much take sides...that way I can like whoever is likeable and don't care what tribe or region he or she comes from. It's just that Assyrians are so alone and friendless in this world...I always sided with the underdogs...which the rest of these three sisters from Hell ain't.
