You are in a "per dick a mint".
On the one hand, you can leave this community, like so many others have, and succeed as a sculptor.
You would still be dealing with Assyrian themed art, but the clientelle would be of diverse ethnic groups. Perhaps having your sculptures in the homes of affluent white, black, latino, asian, and other families will get our community as much exposure as a public monument would???
On the other hand, you stand to teach quite a few in our community about art---something they are woefully ignorant of.
Why can't you have the best of both worlds??
