Before the Iran Iraq War two relatives of mine visited Iraq. Saddam's government was paying the way for anyone born there or whose parents had been...wanted to entice them to think about coming back, show them how good life could be there. Something our boys would not want on principle.
One of them actually lived and worked in Iraq and came here for a visit. My grandmother, she was a traitor too, asked why he didn't move his family to America.
He'd said, "why"? He said they had the best jobs, 12% interest, a good life as we know life can be in the Mideast where they have humans. He said all I see you people doing here is eating and watching television when you aren't sleeping or at work.
The other was a woman who couldn't praise Baghdad enough...said it was a jewel. Both were Assyrians of course...Christian ones no less.
The Christians over there who do the complaining are the villagers the illiterate ones for the most part...like we have cessessionists here and KKK people who want to topple our own government. They are malcontents...you'll find them in every country. They are hidebound to prove to us that ALL Christians in Iraq are being tortured and brutalized...like they insist Iraq wants to deny Assyrian history. They are lying...it's that simple.
