I realize that you enjoy dancing around all of my posts now with your taunts and that it will probably be impossible to get an answer to this question, but I'll try anyway. Your previous posts seem to profess that you don't believe in any religion, ergo, no Supreme Being or if A Supreme Being, then certainly not one that could exert any moral authority over the human race. If you acknowledge that to be true, then isn't that just a great leap into oblivion? If it is, then why are you so angry about a universe that is screwed up to the nth degree and humanity which is just as screwed up, yourself included?

No name this time just the ghost in the machine,

: : Are you saying then, that if the other side won, that we would all be better off as Moslems?

: +++The best people get that way INSPITE of these three religions from hell...never BECAUSE of them.

: And yes C.S. Lewis was a Christian apologist, but he didn't start off that way, he began as an atheist.

: +++Lots of people start off right then screw up. It's okay...Christians NEED to apologize more than most.

: And one point that I would think that you would agree with Lewis on is his assertion that, "We don't have control over what we feel, but we always have control over our will and, therefore, over what we say and do. And what we say or do determines whether we help or hurt others."

: +++I love it...a guy has a hard time opening a can of beans...struggles to "master" it for years...finally gets the damn thing open...and spends the rest of his life telling us about what he "learned". You are easily impressed.

: Lewis always emphasized that Agape is a "state of the will, which we have naturally about ourselves, and must learn to have about other people." This was a basic principle of human relationships for Lewis. He made the point that when you will the best for someone and act accordingly, even toward a person you don't like, you begin to dislike that person less and to like him or her a little more.

: +++Take a marshmallow and try to relax.

: I am trying to see your point of view, but I get lost in all of the invective. What exactly is your worldview?

: +++"Fuck Em All". That's the short version.

: : Assuming, for the sake of argument, that everything that you have said is true - what is your solution?

: +++Stop telling the truth...obviously.

: : Ashur

: +++Usure?
