I especially second the pernicious rise of this weird American Christianity...as awful as the kind they used to burn witches with. It's a political party...a party of god as lethal, no more so, than anything in Islam.
I was amused, watching a college football game at the airport, when the winning coach told the reporter first and foremost..."I just want to commend JESUS lord for this victory". Talk about religious fanantics.
What about the losing team...did Jesus not want them to win? Was he pissed at them for some reason...did they cheat, were they unworthy of victory...were they Muslim or other axles of Evil? Looked like nice kids.
What the hell are these people talking about, thanking Jesus and all of that? I'll tell you what...they're getting ready to stand over mass graves and say, "Thank you Jesus, for the win".
