You could have waltzed into the United States in the 1950's and have been shocked to see college professors thrown out of work...artists and writers blacklisted, prisoners wrongfully executed and the rest of it. No one is defending tyrants and jerks, not in Iraq and not in the United States.
The mistake you're making is to be taken in by the mansion and the wealth bequeathed to an errant idiot...and assume that he must have built the family fortune as well, so give him benefit of the doubt. He didn't. He's merely squandering it...yet you prefer this to the raggedy people outside scraping together what it takes to begin building their own fortune...one day when the brat in the mansion gets off of their backs.
The West has been systematically reducing countries all over the world to ab ject poverty...while their puppets are paid well. Now it comes around and finds fault. Really now.
