I wish I could remember where I read an account of the bickering that ensued at the Versailles conference when Agha Poutrous and his delegation showed up. It was once again a matter of other Assyrians claiming this and that...basically stabbing each other in the back. We are famous for it.

There is no better indication of what a petty people we are become...than the petty divisions over petty issues that divide us.

What can you expect of a people who dumped their one true and unified religion for an argument about Monophysite vs Physics....the true nature of a Jew...the fine points of Jew history...and were willing to get their children killed over it...having become ecstatic over turning their backs on Ashur, (Whew!)...while maintaining loyalty, "to the death and beyond", to a Jew.
