Don't see any Assyrian name.
Don't see your (uncoded) name, Punchey.

What is a necessary war?

A war is being planned against Iraq. It is explained as necessary.
We would like you to bear in mind that this war will cause:

Thousand of civilian deaths, casualties, ruined lives, refugees.
More fear, hatred, violence, terror in the Middle East and the entire world.
More poisoned soil, water and air for several generations.
More babies will be born with congenital deformities, die of cancer, loose their loved ones.
Can we take part in inflicting these sufferings upon other people?

Where is the common sense? Are there no alternatives?
Where is the dialogue, the negotiations, peace missions?
Where are the objective reports about people, living in Iraq?
Why not trust the weapon inspectors?
We call upon all homes, places of work and parliaments to pause for five minutes to devote time for common sense and compassion.
