+++ I am afraid the problem is still much deeper:
One doesn't have to be a great thinker to keep minimum moral and character standards of honesty, decency and truthfulness.

+++ But if one doesn't, then also any chance is lost to raise oneself any higher also in one's intellectual efforts which will then inevitably fall prey to corruption and degeneration.


+++ And just that is the spectacle which is on show now for everybody.
