6- To enhance scientific studies and researches in Iraq and to keep up with the scientific progress in the world.

7- To encourage and aid authorship and researching in sciences, literature and the arts.

8- To translate the most important books and researches published in foreign languages.

9- To establish cultural ties with institutions concerned with Orientalism.

10– To strengthen ties with academies of sciences and languages and with scientific and
