let me be the first to invite you all to visit our new art site...at "faridparhadart.com"...which just went onlune ten minutes ago.

this beautifully designed site...because you`ll barely even notice it...was crafted by Kris and Jeff...and their names appear on every photo, as well they should. When you`re good at what you do and care enough to put in the time...you should shout it out for all to hear...Muhammad Ali NEVER bragged...he did everything he set out to do...it was just the bold truth...and as Assyrians and Chaldeans we have to get off our knees and not be afraid to work at and show ourselves and take pride in our pride.

Looking at the site myself and realising not all my pieces are there...I`m struck by the variety of subject matter...most sculptors try to invent a definitive style as quickly as they can for it makes people think they are very serious and dedicated their entire lives to painting tin cans..or casting pillows in cement. The lovers of art might not "get it"...but the damn fools are impressed that you obviously never did either...but were willing to spend 20 years trying to. They will reward for it too.

I call that the "Van Gogh Factor"...it`s that stark fear..that icy hand that grips the throat of every art "lover" as he or she gazes at what they have no idea they`re looking at...and they know everyone is watching and expecting them to go along and be nice about it...and a voice screams in their inner ear..."YOU PROBABLY WOULD HAVE THOUGHT VINCENT WAS FULL OF SHIT"...and realizing that a Van Gogh painting...for whatever reason, fetched the highest price ever paid for a painting...they`d accept ANY damn thing in front of them because who doesn`t want to believe they would have recognized Vincent`s genius in 1888?

Anyway...enjoy it if you can and remember...the sculptor who made these pieces is one of the greatest ENEMAS Assyrians have!
