The ancient Assyrian empire was grounded (ruined) by Ashur himself as God
did not allow him to perpetuate his arrogant, destructive, imperialist,
usurpist, nationalist, militaristic existence of supressing everything
culturally and otherwise worthy in the ancient Near Eastern world and
everything hopeful for mankind in general.

Therefore God wiped him out from among the peoples of the world - long time
before Christ came to Earth.

However:

The community of modern "Assyrians" was then built for the first time by
Christ from peoples formerly enslaved by Ashur and now being free to live on
in Ashur's then defunct realm/carcass.

Unfortunately, today some "Assyrian" nationalists are even eager to be so
regressive as to ape that old criminal trickster Ashur as if 1 letal defeat
was not enough already.

Letal (!) defeat, I said, which means that anyone opting for Ashur/Ashurism
is following a ZOMBIE turning himself/herself into a ZOMBIE.

Any proof needed?

Look at the mental infertility, the epidemically spreading incompetence and
degradation, the loss of life force, the lack of any cultural or political
progress, the LOSS OF IDENTITY, the loss of language, the spate of tribal
bickerings etc.

That's not Christian, that's not life, that's the all too well known
stinking death-breath of Ashur turning also against his own followers.

Vampires are like that.

Going that way will only spell disaster for the "Assyrian" people.
